Views of Scotland
Yesterday I visited Edinburgh where I met with LGBT activists to talk about their various projects and goals and to see how I might contribute to the work they do.Today I rode and walked (and ate) around the southern portion of the Scottish Highlands (mostly in Perthshire) wearing my favorite hat (from DITC (Dykes in the City). I know some of you prefer to look at the pictures (hey Tonya & Tina!) Below are some images, including one of a Scottish rival to my new Swedish food fetish. Can I possibly consider slathering Tartex on my Vegetarian Haggis???
Oh, and I shot a little video of our descent from the mountains. YIKES!

Why not some haggis flavored Tartex? That would be something...
I have to visit the Scotland Highlands sometime. It looks painfully beautiful. I wonder if my Volvo would survive the trip.
How LGBT-friendly is it down there? Is it possible to travel as husbands with kids. We are not that stealthy anymore.
tartex and haggis? never had haggis so i´m probably not entitled to an opinion :)
I did however buy my first tube of tartex in years yesterday, passed by it in the store and felt the urge to have it. How very Gollum of me.
ps! tried to post a comment earlier so if i appear like three times i´m so very sorry :)
Alex, they will adore you and the family here. When you are ready to travel, let me know, I have a dear friend who will put you up and show you around.
I am actually trying to get one of the little country villages in Central Scotland to actively identify as queer friendly and advertise as such. It would be great for queer folks and for the town!
Anna Harry Potter (I can see your wand when you say that!) so glad you connected with me through the Tartex. I wonder if they will notice the increase in sales as a result of my recent visit to Sweden and my subsequent obsessing over the product on this blog.
As to trouble posting on blogger...AH!! Do you know how LONG it took me to post those photos??? Ugh. Free web services are not always the most reliable.
Much love to you both, Alex and Anna, you are both darling and excellent advertisements for the goodness of Sweden!
Scary ride, lovely pictures. And yes indeed I do love the pictures. I think it stems from attention deficit disorder.
or being a girl
What lovely photos of the Scottish countryside!
Vegetarian haggis? o.O
I'm sorry, but that's just not natural. (By the way I love haggis. Proper haggis, that is!)
